TO THE RESCUE: Circ-Cell Red Algae Clarifying Masque

Over the weekend my organization threw it's biggest event of the year. Hundreds of wines, delicious food - and for me, months of preparation, stressful moments and looooong hours. Needless to say I am ready for a break - and so is my skin.

The good news is, with all the working hours I tend to go light on the makeup if any. The bad news is, either way I'm terrible at washing my face when I'm exhausted, and stress shows on my skin with dryness and rogue breakouts. Thank goodness for Circ-Cell Red Algae Clarifying Masque, because the damage that stress and congestion create seem to vanish after using this incredible mask!

Circ -Cell is a simple yet luxurious skincare line of result-driven products. They started with one sole product and creator Maya Crothers only creates new items based on them being innovative, medically advised and full of proven ingredients. To sum it up, they aren't just creating an vast line to fit every possible need, but rather spend time focusing on intensive products that work toward targeted needs. You won't be overwhelmed with an endless selection, but you might be overwhelmed with the positive results.

This mask is one of their best sellers for it's ability to detox, exfoliate and remove impurities while softening and brightening skin. It's also loaded with antioxidants, botanical oils and fine clays. It's technically geared toward oily or blemish prone skin, but even with my dry sometimes sensitive skin I find it great as a rescue mask. Any blemishes are immediately decreased, enlarged or clogged pores are smaller (and cleaner) and skin overall looks fresh, clear and lively. It even works wonders as a spot treatment.

I've not noticed any irritation with the masque or troubling after purge effects in the days following, just a quick, deep cleanse and baby soft skin. What I have noticed is that it does have a tiny bit of a tingle/heat upon application until it dries. I'm not certain, but I attribute it to the Thyme Oil - I frequently use this for many reasons and topically it has the same effect, it is by no means harsh just word to the wise for those that can be sensitive. Also, because it does exfoliate, this is not to be used on freshly exfoliated or peeled skin, or those of you using retinoids.

If you've been unfair to your skin or are frustrated with or prone to blemishes, or even want a nice detox - grab this mask! It works wonders for your complexion.

I know it looks like mis-matched foundation, but it's actually the best rescue treatment I've ever used!
