A Clean Sweep with Acure: Now at Target!

Sometimes the search for better products is a little less than convenient. Don't get me wrong, it's come leaps and bounds from what it used to, which was virtually unknown or found only through lengthy Google search and the company's website. But with the help of blogs and great little curators like Spirit Beauty Lounge or The Choosy Chic, better options are in one trusted place. Yet you do still have to order from those places so you have to factor in shipping time. Usually when I decide I "need" something, it's right now, and my luck Whole Foods or Pharmaca is closed or I'm somewhere there isn't either.

Which is why I could sing from the mountain tops that ACURE IS AT TARGET. First, the more natural alternatives in main stream stores the better. I would love a huge shift in the industry and availability of truly better products. And second, I can grab items I know and trust just about any time or anywhere I go - and the pricing seems a tad lower at Target.

If you've never tried Acure, now is your chance. I love them, I just can't see how I couldn't. Everything they make is made with great care in regards to ingredients and formulation; everything is free from animal testing, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic fragrances, harmful preservatives and artificial colors. The products themselves aren't just high quality, they are effective. Everything I've tried to-date has worked beautifully for me and at a really easy and accessible price point.

So, on with a few of my favorites in the cleansing category.

Sensitive Facial Cleanser

In my experience when a cleanser claims to be "Sensitive" it's equated to not working or cleansing all of my makeup off. This is where this one really stands out. It only takes a small amount, its super creamy and lathers lightly. I work it into my skin almost until the water is gone and it's no longer easy to move, then I rinse. It takes a few splashes to remove it, and when it's done my skin is super clean yet moisturized. I notice my skin healthier looking, soothed, clean and pampered. I can use it when my skin is delicate after an enzyme peel or every day. It's very versatile which is rare for a cleanser marked sensitive.

Brightening Facial Scrub

About every 3rd day I'll use this scrub as a nighttime treatment. Packed full of Argan Stem Cell, Chlorella Growth Factor, Organic Sea Kelp, French Green Clay and Organic Lemon Peel - you can feel and see the difference on the first use. You'll exfoliate dead skin away, purify your pores and help stimulate new growth. I like a sufficient amount of "scrubbies" and this one does not disappoint. It really gets your face smooth and truly glowing. If you're looking for more even tone, increased radiance and reduction in fine lines and early aging signs - you should have this item in your regimen.

Argan Cleansing Towelettes

If ever anyone needed these, its Moms. Whether your best effort to somewhat wash your face at night, clean who knows what off your hands/face/chest, wiping little hands or faces or freshening up after a great workout - these will work for just about anything. I love traveling with them instead of toting around liquid remover, they tackle full on makeup, even eye makeup or work to freshen up after a long day of travel and every mess in between. No strong scent, no sticky residue, no rinse.

I'm rarely impressed by a brand that satisfies this price point and is produced at such a high level. I really feel like ACURE has done a fantastic job of formulating products that work and offer much better ingredient alternatives.
