The Perfect Snack: Pure Bar

It's Monday, which means one thing... I'm scrambling to wrap up the weekend and get on with my work week. I try to food prep on Sundays, but I don't always get that done or feel like toting around tupperware while I am on the go: workout, work, meeting, pickup at school, vineyard or tasting room, drop off wine, sitting in my car wishing I could eat something - anything, etc.

One thing that has helped me in that department is Pure organic bars. These tasty bars come in so many scrumptious flavors and I've yet to try one I didn't like (seriously). There are Fruit & Nut Bars that are so soft and delicious or the Ancient Grain Bars that are a little more hearty and filling. The variety is vast, which is awesome because some I prefer as a breakfast bar (Apple Cinnamon, Wild Blueberry), others as a snack (Peanut Butter Chocolate, Chocolate Chunk Nut). 

Aside from the flavors, the ingredients are real, simple and whole, with natural sources of fiber, omegas and protein, along with being certified organic, vegan, kosher, gluten free and non-GMO. All which makes grabbing on the go so much more convenient when you don't have to analyze a label.

As a Mom, I know it's tough to keep everything straight and we are typically last on the list. I used to get in a really bad habit of skipping breakfast or not nourishng myself enough while breastfeeding, so if you're in that boat, stash a Pure bar in your purse, car, office, diaper bag - anywhere. Pure is found at so many retailers in store and online, so stock up! My son also happens to love them, so if you don't have any nut allergies in the family, it's a perfect snack for little ones - after all, they were created with kids in mind!
